BEEMER – The East Husker Conference girls golf meet was held Saturday in Beemer. West Point-Beemer was the overall team champion, finishing with a team score of a 379. Thurston/Cuming County was the team runner-up. The individual conference champion was Brook Diekemper of West Point-Beemer, finishing with an 85. Shelbie Woeman, also of WP-B, was the runner-up. Notable top finishers for the area included Edie Anderson of Oakland-Craig, who placed 5th and Emma Beutler of Thurston/Cuming County placing 6th.
