BATTLE CREEK – The West Point-Beemer girls golf team placed first at the Battle Creek Invite on Monday. The Cadets were winners by 10 strokes with a team score of a 407. Individually, Kailey Johnson placed 1st with an 85, Brook Diekemper was 4th with a 94 and Shelbi Woeman came in 8th with a 105. Allie Boell shot a 123 and Alma Urquidez had a 125.
Clarkson-Leigh had a varsity and JV team participate. Kaitlyn Fehner placed 7th for the JV squad with a 105, while Hazel Mundt led the varsity with a 119. Cortlynn Cadwallader had a 146 and Ashly Guillen shot a 162.
