Wayne State Men and Women to play final home games of season this weekend

Wayne State plays their final home games of the season in Rice Auditorium this weekend hosting Concordia-St. Paul Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. and Minnesota State Saturday at 5:30 p.m. The Wildcats are 10-17 overall and sixth place in the NSIC South Division at 7-11 entering Fridays matchup vs. Concordia-St. Paul (7-15, 5-13 NSIC South). Minnesota State starts the weekend at 13-11 overall and tied for third in the NSIC South at 11-7 in league games.

Three weeks ago on the road, WSC won 66-63 at Concordia-St. Paul and 73-71 at Minnesota State to snap a 14-game losing skid to the Mavericks.

 

Wayne State hosts Concordia-St. Paul and Minnesota State in key NSIC South Division home games this weekend at Rice Auditorium in Wayne. The Wildcats enter play this weekend at 16-8 overall and second place in the NSIC South Division at 11-7 heading into Fridays 5:30 p.m. matchup vs. Concordia-St. Paul, who is 12-12 and tied for fifth in the NSIC South at 9-9. Minnesota State visits Rice Auditorium Saturday at 3:30 p.m. and is 13-9 and tied for third in the NSIC South with a 10-8 league mark.

Three weeks ago, Minnesota State beat the Wildcats in Mankato 79-69 while the Wildcats rallied in the fourth quarter the following night to post an 83-74 win at Concordia-St. Paul.
