The Wayne State Women’s Basketball team travels to MSU Moorhead Friday night at 5:30 p.m. and Minnesota Crookston Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. WSC is currently 5-16 on the season with a 2-16 record in NSIC play entering Friday night’s contest. MSU Moorhead is currently 9-14 on the year with a 9-9 NSIC record. Minnesota Crookston currently sits 9-15 on the year with a 6-12 record in the NSIC.

Earlier this season, the Dragons defeated the Wildcats 64-49 on January 6th inside of Rice Auditorium while the Golden Eagles also picked up the win against the Wildcats by a final score of 63-57 in Wayne. WSC is seeking their first win against the Dragons since the 2020 season and their first win against the Golden Eagles since 2018.

Wildcat men hit the road for the second weekend in a row as they travel to #8 MSU Moorhead Friday night and Minnesota Crookston Saturday night. The Wildcats are 13-12 on the season with a 6-12 record in the NSIC heading into Friday’s matchup. #8 MSU Moorhead is currently 21-3 on the season with a 15-3 NSIC record. Minnesota Crookston sits at 6-18 with a 3-15 NSIC record.

Earlier this season, the Wildcats fell to the Dragons 80-68 in Wayne while defeating the Golden Eagles 62-53 in Rice Auditorium. WSC is looking for their first victory over MSUM in the last 14 meetings while the Wildcats have won three straight meetings against UMC.
