Wayne State returns to play following the holiday break hosting a pair of NSIC South Division womens basketball games this weekend as the Wildcats welcome #18 Sioux Falls to Rice Auditorium Friday at 5:30 p.m. followed by a Saturday 3:30 p.m. matchup vs. Southwest Minnesota State. The Wildcats are 9-3 overall and one of four teams tied atop the NSIC South Division standings at 4-2 heading into Fridays matchup vs. USF (11-2, 4-2 NSIC South). SMSU enters the weekend at 5-6 on the year and 0-6 in league play. Last season, Sioux Falls beat the Wildcats three times, including 77-72 in Wayne while the Wildcats won both matchups against SMSU last season that included a 72-67 win in Wayne.
