UNO Volleyball announces non-conference matches

OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha volleyball head coach Matt Buttermore announced the addition of two non-conference matches to the Spring 2021 schedule on Friday.

The Mavericks open the season on the road at Creighton on Friday, Jan. 22 at 6 p.m. before hosting UNI on Saturday, Jan. 23 at 4 p.m.

“It’s been 14 months since we played another team, so we’d be excited no matter who was across the net,” said Buttermore. “Fortunately, we were able to schedule two great programs for our non-conference. We’re looking forward to some great competition before we head into what promises to be a tough Summit League slate.”

Saturday’s match against UNI will be played at Sapp Fieldhouse and closed to the general public. Due to COVID-19 protocols, attendance is limited to student-athlete pass-list attendees at this time.
