INSIDE SET ONE
Omaha began the match with a blistering start. The Mavericks opened on a 12-4 run with an ace by Kenzie Michalek and a Blaschko kill to cap it off. Denver eventually fought back and cut the Maverick lead to three (21-18), but a 4-1 Omaha run closed out the set.

The Mavericks dropped a heart-breaking second set, 28-26. Denver jumped out to a 9-3 lead, but Omaha rattled off five-straight points and cut the deficit to one. The Pioneers had the set point on four different occasions, but the Mavericks answered. Denver eventually won the set on a service ace that fell just over the net and onto the ground.

INSIDE SET THREE
A strong third set put Omaha back on top with a 26-24 victory. Omaha trailed 9-6 early, but a 5-1 spurt sparked by a kill from Sade eventually gave the Mavericks an 11-10 lead. Denver scored five-straight and led 15-13, which forced a timeout. Down 23-22, Omaha dug deep and scored its next four points on back-to-back Blaschko kills, a kill from Blase and a kill by Sade.

INSIDE SET FIVE
A kill by Sade and a Denver attack error evened the score at 5-5 in the final set. The Pioneers, however, were able to go on a run and build an 11-7 lead over Omaha. Despite some late efforts with two Limback kills, the Pioneers scored their next four points and took the final set 15-10 and the match, 3-2.
