Central Community College womens basketball is pleased to announce the signing of Shelby Berglund, a senior at North Platte High School.
Berglund (center) led the Bulldogs to the 2020 NSAA State Girls Basketball Tournament and a 19-4 record. She lettered in basketball and soccer.
“Im really excited to play basketball in a smaller community and having bigger opportunities,” said Berglund. “I cant wait to be a part of the Raider family.”
Berglund also lettered academically all four years at NPHS.
“Shelby is a hard worker and has spent considerable time in the gym,” said CCC head coach Billy Perkins. “She shoots the ball well and the range on her shots will help us spread out the floor. Shelby will be a great addition to our team.”
Berglund will be an academic transfer major at CCC. She is the daughter of Leon (right) and Anne (left) Finchem.
