The Charger women’s basketball program has announced the signing of Taylor Lamprecht to its 2019-20 recruiting class. Lamprecht is a senior at Ponca High School in Ponca, Nebraska.
“We are so excited to add Taylor to our Charger Family,” said assistant coach Bay’lee Purdy. “Taylor comes from a winning program and she will bring that winning mentality to our team. She is a well rounded individual who is successful on the court and the classroom!”
Lamprecht is a nine-time letter winner for the Indians of Ponca High School, earning four in basketball, two each in softball and track and one in volleyball. She was named first-team all-conference for her junior and senior basketball seasons as well as honorable mention all-state. Lamprecht has also earned all-conference and all-state honors in softball.
Outside of athletics, Lamprecht is involved in choir, show choir, art, her high school’s buddy program, National Honor Society and her church’s youth group. She has been named Academic All-State in both softball and basketball, is a member of the A Honor Roll, has earned academic achievement awards and awards in Spanish 1 and 2 and earned the Bausch and Lomb Honorary Science Award. She will graduate from Ponca as the valedictorian of her class.
Lamprecht is the daughter of Cory Lamprecht and Carrie Hughes.
