OAKLAND – Oakland-Craig ran for over 350 yards on the way to a 62-0 shellacking of Bancroft-Rosalie/Lyons-Decatur in high school football broadcast on 107.9 The Bull Friday night, Sept. 4.
The Knights raced to a 42-0 lead in the first quarter, and led 62-0 by halftime.
Jaron Meyer had eight carries for 135 yards and three touchdowns for the Knights.
Gunnar Ray, Coulter Thiele, Connor Guill and Tavis Uhing each added a rushing touchdown in a night that saw Oakland-Craig run for 358 yards.
Grady Gatewood was 2-4 passing for 99 yards and a touchdown, with Meyer also catching the touchdown pass, which went for 78 yards.
BRLD struggled to get anything going offensively, turning the ball over four times in the game, all interceptions.
The Wolverines are now 1-1 on the year and will travel to Logan View/Scribner-Snyder next week, while Oakland-Craig is now 2-0 and heads to Crofton.
