FREMONT – It was a medieval match-up in high school volleyball on Tuesday night, Oct. 13 when the Oakland-Craig Knights traveled to Fremont to face the Archbishop Bergan Knights, in a contest aired on 107.9 The Bull.
O-C started off strong, winning the first two sets 25-21 and 25-12.
Bergan won a hard-fought third set, 26-24.
Bergan then rolled in sets four and five, winning 25-21 and 15-7, completing the comeback victory.
Oakland-Craig is now 18-4 on the season and opens play in the East Husker Conference Tournament on Thursday. The Knights have a first round bye and will face the winner of North Bend Central vs. Tekamah-Herman.
