NORFOLK, Neb. – The Northeast Community College volleyball team wrapped up their regular season slate Wednesday at home as they took on Southwestern Community College. The Hawks took a commanding 3-0 victory in three sets.
The Hawks (19-15, 4-5 ICCAC) handled their business with ease and will hope to have that positive momentum roll over into the postseason. Northeast has now finished the regular season and posted a 10-3 record at home in the campaign.

Head volleyball coach Amanda Schultze on what clicked today:
“I felt like we had a lot of energy tonight,” Schultze said. “We did a really good job with staying focused and on top of our game in that last set.”
Schultze on where her squad is at heading into the postseason:
“After this last week I think that we got a fire going again,” Schultze said. “I feel like they are really starting to mesh, and you can see that on the court.”

The first round of the playoffs will begin as the Hawks will travel to Des Moines Area Community College for a matchup starting at 1 p.m. in Boone, Iowa.
