GACC, Clarkson/Leigh and Howells-Dodge Qualify for State Volleyball

Clarkson/Leigh, Howells-Dodge and GACC all qualified for this weeks state volleyball tournament in Lincoln by winning their respective sub-state championship games on Saturday, Oct. 31.

In action aired on 107.9 The Bull, Clarkson/Leigh defeated BRLD in four sets for the C2-4 title. Scores of the match favored the Patriots 25-19, 25-19, 24-26, 25-18.

Howells-Dodge swept South Loup in the C2-6 final 25-14, 25-19, 25-20.

GACC swept Fullerton 25-16, 25-17, 25-19 in the C2-8 final.

Additionally, the season came to an end for the Oakland-Craig volleyball team Saturday, as they were defeated in three sets by Broken Bow 25-19, 25-20, 25-23 in the C1-8 sub-state final.

The pairings have been released for this weeks Class C2 state volleyball tournament.

All games are being held at Pinnacle Bank Arena this year.

Its GACC vs Overton in the first round Thursday night at 7:00, followed immediately by Howells-Dodge vs Clarkson/Leigh.

Both games will be carried on 107.9 The Bull.
