Forty-five NECC student-athletes named NJCAA All-Academic; six teams honored

NORFOLK, Neb. – Northeast student-athletes were busy on and off the court this past season.

Forty-five student-athletes were named NJCAA All-Academic it was announced on Friday. Student-athletes are eligible to earn academic honors by achieving an overall GPA of 3.60 or higher for the 2019-20 academic year. The criteria for the three All-Academic teams are listed below:

NJCAA All-Academic First Team: 4.00 GPA

NJCAA All-Academic Second Team: 3.80-3.99 GPA

NJCAA All-Academic Third Team: 3.60-3.79 GPA

In addition, the Northeast baseball, women’s basketball, men’s golf, women’s soccer, softball and volleyball teams were each named a 2019-20 NJCAA Academic Team of the Year.

Below is a list of the student-athletes mentioned with their respective sport.

Baseball

First Team:
