The Central Community College womens basketball team lost to Concordia University JV, 68-47, on Tuesday night at Raider Fieldhouse.

The Bulldogs jumped out to a 22-15 lead at the end of the first period. CCC was held to nine points in the second quarter and Concordia JV took a 37-22 halftime lead.

The Bulldogs continued the offensive barrage in the second half and built a 21-point lead en route to their second win over the Raiders this season.

Monica Brooks was the only CCC player to score in double figures as she finished with 25 points.

“This was a tough loss,” said CCC head coach Billy Perkins. “We had some good momentum coming into the game, but we just could not get the offense going.”

The loss snaps a four-game winning streak and gives the Raiders a 10-11 record.

CCC returns to Region IX action on Friday at North Platte Community College. The Raiders defeated the Lady Knights, 62-57, on Jan. 18 at Raider Fieldhouse. Fridays tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m.
