The Central Community College softball team split a twin bill with Hastings JV on Tuesday at Raider Field.
The Broncos took the opener, 22-2, while the Raiders won the closer, 10-2. Details about both games will be posted later.
“We werent focused from the beginning and it showed in the first game,” said CCC head coach Caitlin Simon. “I am proud of the bounce back we had in the second game. It says a lot about our ability and when we come ready to play, we can do good things.”
The Raiders are 5-13 on the season.
Up next, Central will travel to Southeast Community College on Thursday for a double-header. Game times are at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
