The Central Community College mens basketball team defeated York College JV, 105-82, at the Freeman Center on Tuesday night.

The Raiders shot 59 percent (41-69) from the floor, 41 percent (11-27) from three-point range and 75 percent (12-16) at the free throw line. As a team, CCC logged 31 assists.

“This is one of the better nights weve had offensively this year,” said CCC head coach John Ritzdorf. “We talked before the game about not settling for shots and getting the best shot on each possession.”

Trevion Crawford led the Raiders in scoring with 25 points, while Dwight Glover tallied 21 points. Roman Behrens scored 10 ponts to go along with nine assists.

“Tre Crawford got us going early and Dwight Glover played his most complete game of the year,” said Ritzdorf.

The win snaps a two-game losing slide for CCC, which is now 14-10.

The Raiders return to Region IX play on Friday at North Platte Community College. Game time at McDonald-Belton Gymnasium is set for 7:30 p.m.
