The Central Community College men’s basketball team lost to McCook Community College, 95-83, at Raider Fieldhouse on Tuesday night.
The Indians led 44-39 at halftime and the Raiders were unable to move ahead despite a second-half run.
“We let them get too comfortable on the offensive end of the floor, which allowed them to go 12-15 from the three-point line,” said CCC head coach John Ritzdorf. “Our defensive intensity needs to improve. I was pleased that we made a run in the second half, but it was too little, too late.”
With the loss, the Raiders are now 8-6 on the season.
