Central Community College is pleased to announce Mary Young as athletic director. Young has served as interim athletic director since June 1, 2019.
“We have full confidence in Mary,” said Columbus Campus President Dr. Kathy Fuchser. “Her work as interim director has included overseeing the inaugural season of womens soccer, hiring coaches and ensuring a smooth transition in athletic leadership. Mary has a comprehensive understanding of the National Junior College Athletic Association, Central Community College and communities served by CCC, and athletics across the state of Nebraska. We look forward to her success.”
CCC is also pleased to announce that Abby Pollart and Caitlin Simon will retain their respective head coaching responsibilities in volleyball and softball for the 2020-21 academic year.
