BC women’s volleyball head coach Lindsey Weatherford has announced the signing of Abagale Ericson to her 2020 roster. Ericson is in her second season at Kirkwood Community College, where her team has made two appearances at the NJCCAA National Tournament, and will transfer to the Cliff as a junior.

“We are excited to add Abbie to our program,” said Weatherford. “Her experience playing at a high level and her advanced skill level will be very valuable to us in years to come!”

At Kirkwood, Ericson was a member of the all-conference, all-region and all-tournament volleyball teams. Prior to becoming an Eagle, Ericson graduated from West Sioux High School in Hawarden, Iowa, where she was also a member of the basketball, track, softball and golf teams. In addition to her involvement in athletics, she was involved in National Honor Society, FCA, Drama, PLUS team, choir, band, jazz band, student council, and Lakeside Lab.

Ericson is the daughter of Tracy and Pam Ericson and has two siblings.
