In a Legion Baseball Doubleheader on 107.9 the Bull Wednesday night, the West Point Juniors defeated Tekamah-Herman 14-9 while the Tekamah-Herman Seniors beat West Point 8-3.
In the Juniors Game, Cole Hutchinson had two hits, including a double and 4 RBI and a run scored to lead West Point while Grayson Meyer scored three runs.
Jed Hoover led Tekamah-Herman with 3 RBI and a triple while Bret Brenneis had 2 hits, two RBI, and a run scored.
West Point improved to 2-1 on the season while Tekamah-Herman fell to 3-2.
In the Seniors game, Gavin Enstrom had 3 hits, including two triples, two RBI, and 3 runs scored to pace Tekamah-Herman.
Reese Schlecht had a single and two RBI and a run scored for West Point while Brendan Rief had two hits and scored a run.
Tekamah-Herman scored 5 runs in the 6th inning to pick up the win.
Tekamah-Herman improves to 4-0 on the season and travels to Wayne on Friday while West Point falls to 3-1 and travels to Columbus Lakeview on Thursday.
