West Point-Beemer Girls Basketball Standout Sidney Swanson has signed with the University of Sioux Falls. Swanson tells KTIC Sports that Sioux Falls is a great fit for her.
Swanson says she also had an offer from Southern Connecticut and was also recruited by Briar Cliff, Concordia, and other GPAC Schools.
She adds she will be going in as a point guard/shooting guard.
Swanson says she is undecided on a major, but plans to go to Graduate School and possibly become a Speech Pathologist and work with special needs kids.
She is the daughter of Aaron and Carrie Swanson.
Swanson has helped lead the Cadets to back-to-back State Tournament Appearances, and says expectations are high heading into this year.
Swanson has also participated in Volleyball and Track at West Point-Beemer.
