North Bend Central Football Standout Breckin Peters has signed with Morningside. Peters tells KTIC Sports everything about Morningside was just right.
Peters also had offers from Midland, Mount Marty, Dakota Wesleyan, Nebraska Wesleyan, Doane, and St. Ambrose.
Peters was part of a Senior Class that helped resurrect Tiger Football, and says he will carry that experience with him onto college.
Peters, who will play receiver for the Mustangs, had 451 yards receiving and 4 touchdowns for the Tigers this past season.
Peters, who was also a star player on the Tigers’ Boys Basketball Team, and participated in Track before the Coronavirus Pandemic hit, says his love for the game of Football developed over the course of his childhood.
Peters medaled at State Track his Sophomore year, the same year he helped lead the Tigers to a State Runner-Up Finish in Basketball.
Peters shares his favorite memory from each sport.
Peters says he plans to major in Psychology.
He is the son of Jeff and Aimee Peters.
