Logan View/Scribner-Snyder Head Boys Basketball Coach Sean Forbes announced on Tuesday that he plans to leave the school as he has accepted a teaching position at Wahoo. Forbes and his wife live in Wahoo and he says the opportunity to work at his alma mater was simply too difficult to pass up.

Forbes says there are no plans for him to Coach at Wahoo at this time.

Forbes spent 6 years at the helm of the Raider program and says he is proud of what the team accomplished under his watch.

Forbes went 90-59 during his 6 years, leading the Raiders to two District Finals, one in 2015-2016 and the other in 2017-2018 only to fall to Bishop Neumann and Wahoo, respectively.

Forbes says it wasnt an easy situation to step away from.

Assistant Coach Jake Scheef has been named Forbes replacement.

Forbes feels he will do really well in the head role.

The Raiders return almost everyone from this years 17-9 squad.

Forbes adds he will miss everything about Logan View.

Forbes says he will also miss the community support, camaraderie with the fans when the team was winning, as well as the East Husker Conference and its coaches and players.
