STROMSBURG- Following a 12-0 lead in the first quarter by Tri County, the Cross County Cougars reeled off 36 unanswered points to beat the Trojans 36-12 in the Class D1 Nebraska State Playoffs. It was a monster game from Sophomore Carter Seim as he rushed for (unofficially) 246 yards and four scores. The Cougars also unofficially had 318 yards of total offense all on the ground.

The defense was stout as well for Cross County allowing 174 yards of total offense, and allowed just 12 in the second half.

Cross County moves onto the Class D1 semifinals to face Osceola-High Plains on Monday.
