(AUDIO) Clarkson/Leigh remains undefeated with sweep of Pender in High School Volleyball Action on the Bull

PENDER – The Clarkson/Leigh Volleyball Team continued their hot start to the season Thursday night, sweeping Pender 3-0 on the road in action aired on 107.9 the Bull.

The Patriots won set one 25-18, took set two 25-14, and won set three 25-20.

The theme of the match was Clarkson/Leigh getting out to a lead in each set and responding to any and all Pendragon runs throughout the match as anytime Pender would make things close, tie things up, or take the lead the Patriots had an answer.

Penders lone lead of the match came in the 2nd set when the Pendragons went up 11-10.

The Pendragons were led by Ashley Ostrand, who had a match-high 11 kills. Cassidy Hoffman had 10 to pace the Patriots while Chloe Hanel chipped in 7.

Clarkson/Leigh returns to action next Thursday, battling High Plains Community and Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family in a Home Triangular.

Pender is also back in action next Thursday as the Pendragons travel to Wakefield to take on the Trojans.
