One person died and another was injured in a one-vehicle accident near Fremont on Sunday.
According to a Press Release from the Dodge County Sheriffs Office, 20-year old Dominique Hocij, of Omaha, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
The driver, 21-year old Carissa Jourdon of Nickerson, was transported to an Omaha Hospital by Medical Helicopter.
Neither Jourdon nor Hocij were wearing a seatbelt.
The accident took place just before 3:30 on County Road 23 just South of Rosedale Road, about two miles north of Fremont.
The Fremont Fire Department and Fremont Rural Fire Department assisted at the scene.
