West Point Swimming Pool scheduled to open Monday

Tentative opening date: Monday, June 15
No admission charge – Patrons must have a West Point, Beemer, or Bancroft address to gain admittance to the pool.

Free will donations may be sent to the city office Children 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult or babysitter who oversees the child’s adherence to social distancing policies. Social distancing procedures (six feet apart) will be enforced while waiting in line, in the bathhouse, and on the pool deck. Limited number of patrons per session…this includes swimmers and chaperones (see below).

Patrons must come with a mask on for check-in or they will NOT be allowed in the pool.

Life jackets may be used if individuals bring them – NO sharing will be allowed.

Patrons will enter through bathhouse, leave belongings in designated social distance area from others, swim; and when session is over, exit through the west gate.
Restrooms will be available for use, but please use your own facilities before coming to the pool.

Baby pool will be open to day care facilities only by registration
No chairs or benches will be available. Patrons may bring their own but must adhere to social distancing policies.

One diving board will be available
Slides are off-limits
No swim lessons this summer
No concessions sold
No pool parties

Initial schedule: Monday – Friday
6:15-7:30 am adult lap swim (9 maximum)
10-11:30 am open swim (75 maximum)
12-1:30 pm open swim (75 maximum)
2-3:30 pm open swim (75) maximum)
4-5:30 pm open swim (75 maximum)
6-7:30 pm family swim (100 maximum)
*All children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by their parent or guardian during family swim.
8-9 pm lap swim (20 maximum)
9-10 pm water aerobics (30 maximum)
Saturday & Sunday open at 12 noon
12-1:30 pm open swim (75 maximum)
2-3:30 pm open swim (75) maximum)
4-5:30 pm open swim (75 maximum)
