West Point Beemer Schools To Remain Closed Indefinitely

March 24th, 2020 | Chris Cottrell

At a special meeting of the West Point Beemer board of education, Superintendent Bill McAllister said the school buildings will remain closed indefinitely, based on  the recommendations from the Three Rivers and Elkhorn Logan Valley Public Health Departments.

However, he said he  didnt want to say they would stay closed the entire school year, because hes holding out hope, however unlikely, that they might be able to open a couple of weeks in May.
