West Point-Beemer held their Veterans Day Program in the school’s gymnasium Thursday morning. Corporal Jesus Rivera, a 2009 West Point-Beemer Graduate and Marine, was the Guest Speaker.
Students from West Point-Beemer, GACC, and St. Paul all attended the program.
Rivera had this message for Veterans and Marines.
The program also included the Presentation of the Branch Flags.
High School Principal DJ Weddle provided closing remarks, and talks about what Veterans Day means to him.
Also a part of the program were musical pieces performed by various school students.
