Three Vehicle Accident in Lexington on Monday Involves a Parked NPPD Truck

Shortly before 2pm on Monday, October 19, Lexington Police responded to an accident involving two vehicles and a Nebraska Public Power District utility truck.

An east bound pickup on 6th St.  struck a northbound van on Monroe St in Lexington that failed to stop at a stop sign.

As a result of the collision, the van spun around and struck a NPPD utility truck parked on the street for work on an electric pole.

The driver of the van was cited for failure to yield.

According to Lexington Police, no one was injured.
