A grain bin accident at Central Valley Ag in rural Oakland, Nebraska sent three people to the hospital Wednesday around noon, according to KCAU-TV in Sioux City, who quoted an official from Oakland Fire and Rescue.
According to KCAU-TV, first responders from Lyons and Oakland were at the scene for more than an hour while two of the injured were life-flighted to Sioux City. The third was taken to the MercyOne Oakland Clinic before being flow to Sioux City.
KCAU-TV reports the Oakland Fire Chief said the injuries were related to a fall.
KTIC News reached out to the Oakland Fire Department and was told any information would have to come from the Lyons Fire Department, since they were the first to respond. Attempts to reach out to Lyons were unsuccessful at this time.
