RCUT Construction Project Will Begin on US-81/N-91, Near Humphrey

July 2, 2020 (Norfolk, Neb.) — Weather permitting, construction work will begin the week of July 13 on US-81/N-91, beginning approximately one-half mile south and extending to one-half mile north of the US‑81/N-91 junction, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation. Work will consist of concrete pavement widening in the construction of a Restricted Crossing U-Turn(RCUT) to improve highway safety. Traffic will be reduced to one lane and will be controlled by flaggers or temporary traffic control devices. Anticipated completion is fall 2020. Motorists are reminded to use caution when driving in and near construction zones and to buckle up.
