North Platte Woman Sentenced for Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine

United States Attorney Joe Kelly announced that Victoria Arriola, 32, of North Platte, Nebraska, was sentenced on May 14, 2020, to 60 months in prison by United States District Judge Robert F. Rossiter, Jr., for possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine. There is no parole in the federal system. Upon her release from prison, Arriola will serve four years of supervised release.

On January 3, 2019, the North Platte Police Department conducted a traffic stop.  Arriola was driving on a suspended license.  She had an active warrant from Lancaster County and as a result, her car was searched. In the car, officers found 95 grams of methamphetamine, a scale, and other drug paraphernalia.  A single shot shotgun was located in the trunk. Arriola admitted the methamphetamine was hers.

This case was investigated by the North Platte Police Department.
