The Scottsbluff City Council Tuesday evening approved two LB840 economic development agreements.

In other action, the Council also approved an agreement with former city manager Rick Kuckkahn to act as interim city manager as Scottsbluff searches for a permanent replacement for city manager Nathan Johnson, who is leaving the post March 2nd to take a similar position in Dillon, Colorado. Under the contract, Kuckkahn will start February 18th and serve as interim city manager until June 1st. A request for proposals for the hiring of a professional search firm to find a permanent replacement for Johnson was also approved.
