Hit and Run accident results in power outage in south Lexington

A hit and run accident in a residential area of south Lexington resulted in a power outage.  The suspect vehicle, a white Ford Expedition according to Lexington Police Department, struck a power pole and a residence.

 

The vehicle left the scene, investigators believe it has significant front end damage.

 

Nebraska Public Power District was been working to replace the pole and restore power.
