Gering Police investigating vehicle break-ins from over the weekend

Gering Police investigating vehicle break-ins from over the weekend

The Gering Police Department says they are investigating a string of vehicle break-ins that happened over the weekend.

On Sunday, they received 11 reports of vehicles being entered by unknown suspects, with at least four thefts occurring from those break-ins. Money and other items were reported stolen.

The Gering Police Department is asking anyone with information related to this investigation to call 308-436-5089 or Crime Stoppers at 308-632-STOP (308-632-7867).

Homeowners and vehicle owners are being encouraged to to lock their doors to prevent these crimes of opportunity.
