Additional information has been released by the Cuming County Sheriffs Office on Mondays two-vehicle accident on Highway 9.
According to the Sheriffs Office, the accident took place just before 12:30 p.m. about 6 miles North of West Point near N Road.
The drivers were identified as 31-year old Manuel Gomez-Lopez, of Fremont, and 25-year old Daniel Widhelm, of Norfolk.
One person was taken to Franciscan Healthcare in West Point and later transported to Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha.
The accident remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
