Cuming County Emergency Management Update

March 12th, 2020 | Chris Cottrell

From Cuming County Emergency Management:

Cuming County’s Department of Emergency Management is urging citizens experiencing any type of illness, especially cold and flu symptoms, to stay home.  In an attempt to lessen the risk of spreading the COVID-19 (CoronaVirus), particularly among the elderly population, individuals with symptoms who have business at the Courthouse are asked to call the County offices first.

County employees will make every effort to provide assistance by phone.  If face-to-face services are required, an appointment will be scheduled and a County employee will meet the caller at the Courthouse door to provide a mask to wear and will then accompany him/her inside the building at the time of the appointment.

The community’s cooperation in this effort is extremely important in protecting Cuming County residents.
