Community Incident Sends West Point Schools to Lockout, Situation Resolved

On Wednesday, Feb. 3 an incident within the West Point community caused all West Point schools to go into lockout protocols as a precautionary measure. Officials with the schools said it was not a school related issue, and the cause for the lock out was based on information from West Point Police. At approximately 2:00 Wednesday afternoon, the schools were advised by police that the situation had been resolved, and the schools were able to end the lockout protocols and finish the school day under normal circumstances.
