No more school this week at Bancroft-Rosalie Public Schools. They posted this on their Facebook Page:
B-R is dismissing today (Wednesday) @ 12 p.m. & remain closed the rest of the week. Students ipads/computers are being sent home w/them & they will have homework to complete. This is a precautionary measure in relation to COVID-19 virus
To quash any rumors that may be circulating, B-R administration dismissed school as a “precautionary” measure only, as recommended by the Elkhorn Valley Public Health Dept. To the best of our knowledge, no student/staff has tested positive or shown any symptoms of having the COVID-19 virus.
As of now, the NSAA has recommended that only “immediate family” attend the Nebraska State Boys Basketball Tournament in Lincoln this weekend. Members of the pep band & cheerleaders will not be attending.
Also on the Lyons Decatur Northeast Facebook Page:
Mr. Hansen received an update from Elkhorn Logan Valley Health Department. As a precautionary measure, they are recommending that we close the rest of the week. Students and parents need to self monitor for symptoms. We do not have anyone under quarantine at this time.
