West Point-Beemer provided a COVID-19 Update during Wednesdays weekly update with KTIC Radio. Middle School Principal Brendan Calahan has the latest.
Calahan says none of the quarantined students or staff members are quarantined due to a contact at school.
The Duke Talent Search recognizes 7th graders nationwide who have scored in the 95th percentile on National Standardized Tests or higher. Duke has put the program on hold due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, however. Calahan tells KTIC News who all qualified from the school.
Calahan says the Duke Talent Search also gives those students a chance to take the ACT as 7th graders, and depending on their score they may be invited to a ceremony at Duke.
