For the safety of the community and to help slow the spread of COVID-19, the City of West Point has closed the City Park playgrounds. City Administrator Tom Goulette.
Goulette says the city parks like Neligh, Timmerman, and Sherman are not closed themselves, just the playgrounds.
The Playgrounds are closed until further notice. Goulette says this will help keep kids safe.
The playgrounds were officially closed on Monday.
