(AUDIO) Scribner City Council updated on Pool, Utilities given COVID-19

The Scribner City Council met for their regular monthly meeting Monday night.

An update was provided on the Swimming Pool, and it was said that people should come to the pool in their swimsuit and have a towel as no one will be allowed to change at the pool.

Admission will be free this year. The pool is expected to open in July.

Also at Monday nights meeting, the Council heard discussion on possible land acquisitions the city needed for Highway 275 Bypass and access. City Administrator/Clerk Elmer Armstrong.

Armstrong also provided an Update on Utilities due to COVID-19.

Also at the meeting, Economic Development Director Elizabeth Valla said there will be a Grab & Go Event at Mels in July like there was at Zs last week.

The council will meet again on July 27th at 6:30 p.m.
