(AUDIO) Pender School Board holds Town Hall for new Sports Complex

The Pender School Board held a Town Hall Meeting Monday night to reveal ideas for a new Pender Sports Complex. Superintendent Dr. Jason Dolliver says the school doesn’t currently have adequate track practice facilities.

Track is the only sport there’s no practice facility for, according to Dolliver.

The new complex would also allow Pender to have a new youth track program.

Dolliver says possible uses for Heyne Field include football practice and youth activities.

The estimated timeline for the complex to be built is the fall of 2020.
