As the Coronavirus Pandemic Continues, area schools are preparing to return to in-person classes this fall. KTIC News caught up with Pender Superintendent Dr. Jason Dolliver, who outlines their back to school plan.

Dolliver says a priority for the District is to remain in that state as much of the year as possible if not all of it.

Dolliver tells KTIC News what things will look like when the District is in the Green Code.

Dolliver says masks will be required during the school day.

He says it would be a 50/50 type deal if the District has to go to the Yellow Code.

Dolliver says Red Status would be all remote with staff members teaching from inside the building or their home.

The school year begins on August 20th for students with staff reporting a few days earlier on August 17th.
