(AUDIO) P2T discussion highlights West Point-Beemer School Board Meeting

The West Point-Beemer School Board met for their regular monthly meeting on Monday, and discussed Pathways to Tomorrow, or P2T. Superintendent Bill McAllister says there’s a wide variety of career choices with P2T.

McAllister says P2T, which is in conjunction with Wayne State and Northeast, is also giving students Internship opportunities.

McAllister adds a JPA is a funding option for P2T.

McAllister says 150 are enrolled in the program this year, up from 70 last year.

West Point-Beemer will be dismissing students at 2:30 on Fridays this upcoming school year.

McAllister said.

McAllister says the 2019-2020 school year begins on Wednesday, August 14th.
