An Open House was held at the Nielsen Center in West Point on Wednesday for new Northeast Community College President Dr. Leah Barrett. Barrett comes to Northeast from Wyoming.
Barrett succeeded Dr. Michael Chipps, who retired last year.
Barrett says she is very impressed with the new Donald E. Nielsen Career and Technical Training Facility.
Dr. Barrett says she met many community leaders as well as students at Northeasts Extended Learning Campus in West Point.
