With schools across the state shutdown for essentially the rest of the school year, online learning has been commonplace for those schools, including Oakland-Craig. Secondary Science Teacher Dannika Nelson gives this update on how online learning is going at the school.
Nelson says the challenge has been availability to the internet with some students living way out in the country.
Nelson adds no state testing is nice.
Nelson says students are a lot more tech savvy, and feel more comfortable communicating through means such as social media.
