(AUDIO) Neihardt Day Celebration set for this weekend in Bancroft

The 55th Annual Neihardt Day Celebration will be held on the grounds of the Neihardt Center in Bancroft on Sunday from noon to 4:00 p.m. Executive Director Marianne Reynolds.

The main program begins at 1:30 p.m. with the Master of Ceremonies Ron Hull.

Reynolds says the event includes a reading and welcome before the first speaker talks.

Reynolds says other speakers include Timothy G. Anderson, an Oakland native and retired professor from UNL. There will also be a Hoop Dancer.

Reynolds says they will follow COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines.

Reynolds says a sack lunch will be available for $8.
